10 Most Hated Footballers

10. Zlatan Ibrahimovic
This is Zlatan. The self obsessed footballer is not liked by the fans all over the world. His skills and goals may be brilliant but when it comes to his attitude, it is not something that goes down well with everyone.

9. Mario Balotelli
whether it is setting off fireworks in his house or throwing darts at a youth player, Mario is known for his antics on and off the field. A talented player with an eccentric and proud approach, Balotelli is hated by fans worldwide for his reckless behavior and care a damn attitude.

8. Sergio Busquets
Peekaboo! It is a known fact that simulation does spoil the spirit of football and is even rampant at the highest level of play. If there is someone who has mastered the act of simulation then it has to be Sergio Busquets. A book on how to dive in different ways on a football pitch can be authored by this guy which is why football loving people hate him.

7. Pepe
Pepe is more of a warrior who looks like he's out to murder the opponent players. His shrewdness and wicked tackles known or unknown make him a true barbarian on the football field. From stamping players to being sent off on a regular basis, Pepe is hated by the rival fans and many football lovers in the world.

6. Emre Belozoglu
Another instance in world football when the ugly face of Racism showed up. Emre Belozoglu of Fenerbahce supposedly made racial remarks against Didier Zokora of Trabzonspor in a league game. The game of football lasts only 90 minutes but such unhealthy instances last for a lifetime.

5. Ashley Cole
Ashley Cole may be considered as one of the best left backs in the world today, but his off field behavior has not been good enough. From being caught by ex wife Cheryl in various scandals to being picture smoking in the public are not some of the things a professional footballer should showcase to his fans.

4. El Hadji Diouf
From spitting on rival players and fans to being bashed up in a night club and getting drunk before training sessions, this Senagelese player has plenty of forgetful issues to his name. Known as the "crazy legend" by many fans, El Hadji Diouf is equally hated for reasons that make him famous for the wrong reason.

3. Joey Barton
The self proclaimed "violent thug" of world football, Joey Barton has more haters than supporters in the world today. With an endless number of scuffs with fellow and rival players, he is known for his violence on the field. Probably also has more red cards than the number of goals he has scored.

2. John Terry
Regarded as the villain of English football for his scandals with fellow teammate's girlfriend. He is hated as much by the rival fans of Chelsea where he is the Captain. Definitely not an example to set as a leader of your team.

1. Luis Suarez
One of the most talented and brilliant strikers in world football today but the reason why he tops this list is because of his on field drama and unnecessary antics. From biting an opponent player to racially abusing another, Suarez is one of those players who is responsible for bringing down his own glory by worthless actions on the field.
