The 35-year-old victim suffered ‘catastrophic’ head injuries in the horrific attack.
Her body was found in a car in a Lidl car park in Birmingham, the Birmingham Mail reports.
Chikerema, who ran a care home with his wife, was found guilty of her murder by a jury at Birmingham Crown Court.
After the verdict, the victim’s family paid an emotional tribute to her.
The jealous husband had admitted the killings, but denied murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility, claiming he was ‘not of sound mind’.
Judge Michael Chambers adjourned sentence until tomorrow morning saying: “You have clearly been convicted of a very serious offence of which the sentence is life imprisonment.”
He said he would hear submissions before deciding on the minimum term he would serve before being considered for release by the parole board.
