One Nurudeen Adio, accused of stabbing one Lateef Jimoh to death was, yesterday, reman-ded in prison custody by an Ebute Metta court.
Jimoh allegedly murdered the deceased at 6:30pm in Amukoko area during a fight.
The fight between Jimoh and Adio was caused by a heated argument over who should have a bigger share of the N800 they collected from a motorist.
Jimoh and the deceased, aged 32 and 33, respectively, were friends who worked as park touts.
The offence is punishable under Section 221, while the magistrate, Mr .O. O. Olatunji, ruled that the accused be remanded in prison custody pending the DPP’s advice.
