Video: Thief Snatches More Than $40,000 Worth Of Designer Handbags

 The search is on for a purse snatcher who stole nearly $40,000 worth of high end bags from the Neiman Marcus at Tampa's International Plaza last weekend (United States).

According to Tampa Police, the man stole from the store on two separate occasions - once on Saturday and again on Sunday. Store surveillance cameras caught the entire incident.


In TPD's YouTube video of the footage, the suspect can be seen walking into the store and heading toward the purse counter.

After expressing interest in select bags, he's seen taking them from a clerk and briefly inspecting them, before then making a run for the door. Police say he grabbed additional bags from a rack on his way out.

The following day, he returned and grabbed additional purses from a rack near the door.

Among the expensive items taken were Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent purses.
