The body of a 31-year-old young man simply identified as Ade, has been retrieved from a 30-feet well at Amikanle road, Agbado Okeodo local government area of Lagos, he fell into while chasing a mysterious goat.
According to report, the deceased, who is married with three children usually, patronize a particular woman in the street who sells local herbs before setting out for the day’s work with his friends.
On that fateful day, he was there with his friends when he sighted the goat and started pursing it but never knew it would lead to his death. As he was chasing it, the goat jumped over the well and Ade suddenly fell inside. He could not be rescued because of the depth of the well.
Ade’s death has remained a mystery to his neighbours as they could not explain how he fell into the well while trying to catch the goat. Some who have described his death as mysterious said he acted as if a force was guiding him.
His remains was pulled out of the well by men of the Lagos State Fire Service before it was taken to the Alagbado Divisional Police Station.
