Manchester City suffered a shock FA Cup exit at the hands of holders Wigan as the Championship side booked a Wembley semi-final against Arsenal with a 2-1 win at the Etihad.
Wigan, who stunned City in last year's final, took the lead just before the half-hour mark, with Jordi Gomez scoring from the spot after Martin Demichelis had brought down Marc-Antoine Fortune in the box.
Then just 68 seconds into the second-half, James Perch stole in front of Gael Clichy at the back post to bundle the ball home and double Wigan's lead.
Samir Nasri pulled one back on 68 minutes, lashing the ball into the bottom corner from Micah Richards' stooped header, but Wigan managed to see out the victory.
