“I Didn’t Marry Osas To Get US Green Card” – Gbenro Ajibade


Actor and model, Gbenro Ajibade has again revealed that he never married his wife to get a US green card and that even two years after marriage, he is yet to have a green card.
He made this known in a recent interview with Saturday beats.
Ajibade said; ‘“Right now, I have a bone to crack with her family because they think I am intentionally refusing to do my green card. I have not done it even now. It is funny how people think. I and Osas had been legally married in a court in the US two years even before the public knew we were going out. If I had wanted green card, I would have done it since but I felt it would be a distraction. I didn’t marry her because of that,” 

Concerned Nigerians give Buhari two-week ultimatum to return to Nigeria


An advocacy group, Concerned Nigerians, has given President Muhammadu Buhari a two-week ultimatum, to return to Nigeria and resume his office as the President.
In a statement signed by its convener, Prince Deji Adeyanju, the group wondered why Buhari was still performing some presidential functions, despite handing over powers to his Vice and now Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo.

Acting President “Osinbajo” Orders All Oil Companies To Relocate Back To Niger Delta


Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has reportedly asked all international oil companies operating in the Niger-Delta region but with head offices in other parts of Nigeria to relocate to the zone.

It is believed that this is the first time such order would be given by the presidency since 1999 when Nigeria returned to democratic rule.

It is widely known that the oil companies carry out their operations in the region that is now seriously affected by spillage, but have their head offices in Abuja and Lagos.

While the Federal Government has adopted and placed incentives for whistle blowing as a means of fighting corruption in the country, top government officials have slapped the government policy by terminating the career of an assistant director, who raised the alarm that the sum of $229,000 and N800,000 had been diverted by key officials in the Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa, an agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The whistle blower, Mr. Ntia Thompson, an assistant director with the Directorate for Technical Cooperation in Africa, who blew the lid in the fraud that embarrassed the key masterminds, was initially suspended from work on December 19, 2016 and was finally dismissed from service on February 7, 2017.

A Chinese woman that was pregnant with triplets has reportedly given birth twice in seven days because her contraction stopped after her first baby had been born.

The mother, identified by her surname Chen, welcomed her twin daughters on February 28 after having given birth to her son on February 21, according to People’s Daily Online. The rare feat, which surprised her obstetrician, occurred in the city of Yichang, China’s Hubei Province, according to the People’s Daily article, which cited China News.
