A mother of three, Mrs Oluwakemi Ucha, has filed a divorce suit over alleged battering by her husband for her refusal to have more children.
Forty-year-old Oluwakemi told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos that she could no longer tolerate the frequent beatings.
“My husband, Simeon, beats me like a baby; he threatens to kill me for refusing to give him more children, saying that three children are not enough.

A couple identified as 33-year-old, Arinola and her husband, Olalekan Olawusi, were recently arrested in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, for abusing their three-month-old baby.

On April 3, Olalekan made a frantic call to the Providence police department stating that his baby, Tobiloba, wasn't breathing and didn't even have a pulse.

A septuagenarian, Francis Nwachukwu, on Friday appeared in a Jos High Court for alleged rape of three minors.
Nwachukwu, 77, a resident of Angwan Gwada, Tudun Wada, Jos, is standing trial on a one-count charge of rape.
The prosecutor, Mrs. N. Mbap, a state counsel, told the court that the accused committed the offence on different dates in November 2015 at his home.

A Nigerian man, Christopher A.J Benard has been arrested by his Swiss wife, Tanja, after she found out that he was married to 14 other women in Nigeria. Kingsley Ughe, who shared the story revealed that Benard hails from Edo State, has four children with the Swiss lady and is currently unemployed.
