A woman scarred for life after a friend threw acid in her face has said she is homeless.
Naomi Oni, who this week accused police who investigated the incident of incompetence, said she had been living in a hostel room acting as a carer for her mother since the 2012 attack.
‘I’m tired of telling people how I feel then going back to a one-bed hostel with my Mum,’ the 22-year-old said.

Federal High Court Nullifies Collection of Toll on Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge

Saharareporters confirm that a Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, today nullified the collection of any toll or tariff on the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge. Ruling on the suit, which was filed by human rights lawyer, Ebun Adegboruwa, presiding judge, Justice Saidu, J. held that the power of control over all navigable waterways in Nigeria resides in the Federal Government, and not any state government.

Police have arrested two security guards, who allegedly connived with four others to rob a company they were guarding at the Ilupeju area of the Lagos metropolis. The suspects were said to have offered N200,000 bribe to a police patrol team attached to Ilupeju Police Station, which stumbled on them while loading their trucks with products from the company. The stolen products are 630bags of PVC chemicals valued at N3 million.
