Relations between Kiev and Moscow strained since Moscow annexed Crimean from Ukraine in 2014 and backed a separatist insurgency in Ukraine’s eastern Donbass region.

The International Federation of Female Lawyers, IFFL, Delta State Branch on Wednesday October accused Royal Clinic in Udu Local Government Area of allegedly detaining two minors, Caryn Erikhioya (16yrs) and Great Favour (14 years) for eight months against their wish over unsettled N400,000 (four hundred thousand naira) medical bills.

An Australian court will sentence a Nigerian post-graduate student, Jackson Igwebuike on 25 October, after he was found guilty of importing methamphetamine worth $10million to Canberra.

Zimbabwe’s Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reportedly sued Higher Education Minister Jonathan Moyo for $3m on a defamation charge emanating from a widely circulated video presentation during the ruling Zanu-PF party’s politburo in July.

The girl was discovered to have been put in the family way by her stepfather, just as his wife, who is the teenager’s mother, is also six months pregnant. Incidentally, the girl is five months pregnant.

The Seme Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has announced the arrest of two men, Taofiq Oyewale and Segun Oyinola,  who allegedly disguised a smuggled L450 Jeep  with posters of a dead  person as though they were on a burial procession.

While announcing the arrest in a statement on Tuesday, the Public Relations Officer of the command, Taupyen Selchang, said that this was a new strategy adopted by the smugglers to evade the operatives of the NCS.
