Troops Finally Capture Boko Haram Leader And Killed 60 Insurgents In Konduga

Military sources informed PRNigeria that the terrorists’ leader whose name is still being kept a secret was captured after the second but more fierce battle waged by the insurgents to capture the town following their earlier routing by the military.

Wednesday, September 17, 2014 was a particularly bad day for stubborn Boko Haram terrorists operating in the North East as they lost scores of their members during repeated attempts to enter Konduga, about 70 kilometres to Maiduguri.

Lesbian executed for starving girlfriend's 9yr old son to death


 Lisa Coleman (above), 38, was pronounced dead at 6:23pm today in Huntsville, Texas. She had been on death row for the past eight years, after being convicted of the 2004 death of her girlfriend's 9yr old son, Davontae Williams (below after the cut) who had been beaten and bound, and whose body bore more than 250 scars when officials discovered him on July 26, 2004. He had also been starved, weighing a mere 35 pounds at the time of his death.

Witnesses said Coleman appeared to be at peace with the execution on Wednesday telling her jailers: 'I'm ready. I know where I'm going.

 I'm not bitter, just ready'. She then smiled and blew kisses at the supporters gathered at her execution and said 'God bless you all'. Her last words were directed at her fellow inmate, Darlie Routier. 'Tell them I finished strong.' Coleman was given a lethal injection at 6pm and was pronounced dead at 6:23pm. No one showed up to represent the victim, Davontae.

South African Coach Nabbed At Lagos Airport For Drugs

A 38-year old South African Football coach, Steven Darlugar has been arrested by the men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, for trying to smuggle drug out of Nigeria to South Africa.

Sadly, Darlugar said they promised to pay him $6,000 if he succeeded in smuggling the drugs.

Nigerian Troops kill 200 Boko Haram terrorists


ABUJA—No fewer than 200 members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect, were reportedly killed, yesterday, in a  battle with soldiers of 7 Division, Nigerian Army when the sect members in their hundreds attempted to launch attack on Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.

Also, more than six vehicles including an armoured tank with Arabic inscription; Rocket-Propelled Launchers, anti-aircraft guns, assorted number of AK-47 rifles with ammunition were recovered from the terrorists by the troops.

Man sells wife to ritual killers for N800,000

Plateau State Police Command has paraded a man who had sold his wife to ritual killers for N800,000 in his bid to get rich quick.

State Police commissioner, Nasiru Oki who paraded revealed that one Maimako Shephang of Kwalla village in Shendam local government area of the state had in August this year, at about 3.00pm lured his wife who was identified as Agnes to the bush and on getting there, handed over her to two masked men.
