How Suspected Boko Haram Spy Was Arrested In MOPOL Barracks

Men of the Plateau State Police Command have arrested a middle aged man, suspected to be a Boko Haram member, was who caught allegedly spying on policemen at the Mobile Police Barracks, Sector 8 in Jos.
The recent incident followed persistent complaints by members of the public on the existence of some strange persons in some parts of Jos and Bukuru metropolis.

The Borno Government on Sunday said it planned to rebuild about 400 shops destroyed during last Monday’s attack by suspected Boko Haram insurgents at the Ngala Central Market.
Governor Kashim Shettima made the promise when he paid a sympathy visit to the market, which is located at the headquarters of the Gamboru-Ngala Local Government Area of the state.

The violent sect, Boko Haram and other groups in northern Nigeria received $3m from Osama bin Laden in 2002, according to a report by some United States intelligence analysts.
Bin Laden was said to have dispatched an aide to Nigeria to hand out the seed money in naira to a wide array of Salafist political organisations that shared al Qaeda’s goal of imposing Islamic rule.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Victor Babayemi, gave the warning while speaking with journalists in Ikere-Ekiti on Sunday.
He said that the warning became necessary because of the rampant cases of jungle justice in the state.
