Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.
The Times claim that with the duo entering the final year of their contracts, the Gunners are willing to listen to offers and are expecting to receive around £75 million in transfer fees.

Figures released by Forbes have shown that Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov's net worth rose by $3billion in 2016. Usmanov, who owns just over 30 per cent of the Gunners, is now worth $15.2billion.

Majority shareholder Stan Kroenke, who also owns NFL franchise LA Rams, is valued at $7.5billion, around half the amount of Usmanov.

Wyclef Jean Handcuffed After Being Mistaken for Armed Robbery Suspect



Wyclef Jean was reportedly pulled over and handcuffed after police mistook him for an armed robbery suspect early this morning in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. According to law enforcement officials, Wyclef's vehicle matched the description of a car used in an armed robbery in the area. One of Wyclef's associates recorded video of the incident. 

Wyclef later posted the video to his Instagram with a caption that read, "I was asked by the police to Put my hands up. Then I was told do not move. I was instantly hand cuffed before being asked to identify myself and before being told why. In the process I said my name and told them they have wrong person. They proceeded to ignore me and I was treated like a criminal. I am sure no father wants his sons or daughters to see him in Handcuffs especially if he is innocent. As some one who has law enforcers in my family, I was appalled by the bahavior of the LAPD."

Married Banker Dies On Top Of A Woman In Lagos Hotel During Sex Romp


A woman, Ebere Nwachukwu has been arrested and detained by the Police in Ejigbo, Lagos over the death of her married lover who died on top of her during a sex romp in hotel.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the incident happened Saturday night at a popular hotel located at NNPC junction in Ejigbo.

The deceased simply identified as Ken was a banker with a new generation bank.

The Bill is also for the Protection of victims under threat of facial mutilation and other related Matters.

Sen. Dino Melaye (APC-Kogi), who sponsored the bill, said that there was no doubt that Africans of old used tribal marks as a means of proper identification.

Senate moves to probe Saraki over imported jeep


The Senate on Tuesday approved the probe of the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, over the alleged importation of a Jeep without paying Customs duty.
Saraki has been accused of failure to pay duties on the vehicle to the Nigeria Customs Service.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy says he has received death threats and his family have been targeted since Claudio Ranieri was sacked as manager.
The 30-year-old blamed “hurtful” and “false” accusations he influenced the club’s decision to sack the Italian.
Ranieri left in February, nine months after winning the Premier League, with the club 17th in the table. His successor, Craig Shakespeare, later denied reports of a player revolt.

Governor Al-Makura's Son Arrested As His Car Kills Student


Khaleed Umar Al-Makura, son of Nasarawa state governor, Umar Al-Makura, has been arrested for killing a student of Government Secondary School, Lafia.

The victim, Ovye Amos, died on Sunday night after he was hit by the governor’s son with a car.

NAN reports that students of the school protested his death, carrying placards with various inscriptions demanding justice for Amos, a junior secondary school two student.

Court Grants Andrew Yakubu Bail Of N300 Million


A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday granted bail to Andrew Yakubu, a former head of Nigeria’s state oil firm, NNPC.

Mr. Yakubu was arrested by the anti-graft EFCC after about $9.8 million cash was found in his house in Kaduna.

The court granted Mr. Yakubu a N300 million bail while he was also asked to produce two suretees.

Lagos Bans Live Band At Beer Parlours, Restaurant


Lagos State government has prohibited live band music at various beer parlours and restaurants. The government also told religious leaders to soundproof worship centres to minimise the effect of noise generated on the residents.

The General Manager, Lagos State Environment Protection Agency (LASEPA), Adebola Shabi (an engineer), who disclosed this to our correspondent, said the decision came on the heels of increasing rate of petitions by residents lamenting the disturbance from the beer parlour, club houses and religious houses. Shabi said Governor Akinwunmi Ambode was poised to develop Lagos. The LASEPA decried the rate at which residential areas were being converted to commercial use without government’s approval.

Jessica Winfield, formerly known as Martin Ponting, was relocated to HMP Bronzefield in Ashford, UK, the Sun said.

The US is planning to to ban passengers from around 12 countries from carrying most electronic devices on America-bound flights, officials have said.
The ban, which follows an unspecified terrorist threat, is expected to be announced tomorrow and has been under consideration for several weeks, the source told Reuters.

No details have emerged as to exactly which countries have been affected but Royal Jordanian Airlines is advising passengers that laptops, iPads, cameras and other electronics won’t be allowed in carry-on luggage.

Google painted a bleak picture of cybersecurity trends Monday, saying the number of websites hacked rose 32 percent last year, with little relief in sight.

A High Court sitting in Koton-Karfi in Kogi on Monday sentenced a herbalist, Ibrahim Muhammed, to death by hanging for murdering two brothers.

In his judgement, the Presiding Judge, Justice Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye, who sentenced the convict to death described his act as “high level of exceptional wickedness”.
