A 30-year-old police woman, Tutu Willoughby, has been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s court for assaulting her colleague, cpl Raymond Ogweh by slapping him.
The accused person is facing a two-count charge of assault and obstruction.
She was said to have committed the offence on February 11, 2014 along Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos.
Investigative Police Officer, Seargent Oladimeji Kazeem, said Tutu did unlawfully assault Ogweh by slapping him while on duty and obstructed him from performing his lawful duty.
The accused person, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges
She was granted bail in the sum of N50,000 and one surety in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till February 21, 2014 for hearing.
