100-Year-Old Beggar Leaves Her Million Dollar Fortune For The Needy

                              Saudi Beggar
When a hundred-year-old female beggar died in the Saudi port city of Jeddah, the residents of her neighborhood could never have imagined that she would leave behind a fortune that could benefit the needy.

Hearing of Ayesha’s death, the locals sympathized as she had never seen a day of comfort in her life. However, these people got the shock of their lives when they learnt that the frail and blind woman left behind SR3 million in cash, SR1 million in gold and four buildings. After all, she was almost a fixture in the area but nobody knew that this beggar was actually a wealthy woman

But that’s not the end of this incredible tale
As she had no heirs, Ayesha tasked her neighbor Ahmed Saidi – who was also an assistant of sorts and had grown up seeing her beg – with the responsibility of distributing the wealth among the poor.
Saidi said he had informed the authorities, but there was no response.
And since her will and the money was riding high on his conscience; Saidi took the cash, gold and jewelry and put it out in the street for the local residents to collect.
“I am tired of this role,” he said.

But he has not given up on her property.“Ayesha gave me a will and I won’t give up until the authorities take over the homes,” he said.
These homes, four buildings to be exact, house poor people who cannot afford rent and usually have to beg for a living.
So how does a beggar amass such a fortune?
Well, Ayesha’s mother and sisters also begged and when they died they left all they had to her, but she neither used that money for herself nor gave up begging.
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that she died a hero in Saudi Arabia because despite having a fortune at her disposal, Ayesha continued to amass more money to help others after she died instead of leading a comfortable life.
It will be interesting to see what becomes of her wealth.
