The  last  might not have been heard about the prolificacy of Mrs. Diezaini  Alison  Madueke, the embattled  Minister of petroleum  and the rot in  Nigeria  National petroleum  Corporation over the $20billion  scandal  in the ministry.

In  a terse petition  with all the trapping of  scandal, a  self-styled  organization under  the aegis  of  Concerned Aviation  Experts (CAP) addressed to  President  Goodluck  Jonathan, made available to 247ureports.com, the group alleged that  Deizani, since  her appointment as  petroleum Minister  has  spent N3.1b in the maintenance  of  a  private aircraft  domiciled at the Murtala  Mohammed  Airport, Lagos.

According to the petition signed by one Abdul Malik Massay and John Obande Anihiru, for the group, the high octane scandal could be traced to her appointment as petroleum minister.
The petition show that Deizani has been frittering away 500,000 Euros (130 million) monthly, in the last two years to maintained the private aircraft.

In the last two years she is alleged to have spent 3.1billion keeping the aircraft for her private business and family use.
The group in its petition urged the president to immediately launch a probe into the ownership, maintenance, and the usage of the Challenger 850 jet marked OE-ILA, which was domiciled at the private hanger in MM2, in Lagos in the last two years.
