Osun State University, Osogbo experienced a very terrible incident in the early hours of Friday as fully armed robbers terrorised the students at their different private hostels located close to the campus of the university.
Some of the victims said that the robbers who were armed with dangerous weapons stormed the private hostels in turn and dispossessed them of their assets: laptops, mobile phones, money, beverages, wrist watches among other things.
Further more, it was gathered that some robbers allegedly raped some of the female students after threatening to shoot at them if the refused.
The male students attempted to launch counter attack in vain because of the heavy weapons they were carrying.
