Nollywood Actor’s Second Marriage Collapses For Beating Wife

This second time when we thought that the marriage of Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta could have lasted a little longer but it has ended in divorce.

The wife had ran away just like his first wife and son and eloped with the daughter of ex-Kwara Governor Alhaji Muhammed Lafiaji several months back.

His wife Salamat had asked the court to end the affair because it was in her interest to leave the sour marriage.
The court consequently issued a certificate of divorce to Salamat.

"Pretty Salamat had approached the court for the dissolution of her marriage to Chatta, claiming lack of care, abandonment and bad attitude towards the matrimonial home as reasons for the divorce suit. Salamat narrated, during hearing, how Chatta turned her into a punching bag. The union, which did not produce a child, was cemented only in April last year.
