Manchester United star Ander Herrera is being investigated by Spanish authorities over his alleged involvement in match-fixing.
Herrera is being looked into by investigators who are analysing whether he took part in a plot to throw a match whilst at Real Zaragoza.
According to Marca, the match took place on the final day of the 2010/2011 season, where Zaragoza faced Levante knowing a defeat could see them relegated.
Levante stars were allegedly paid to throw the game, while Herrera is also believed to have taken a payment, only to return it, without notifying the Anti-Corruption unit in Spain.
It’s thought that investigators want to speak to Herrera in the coming days and could even liaise with British police to get him to return for talks.
