Arsenal are closing in on a £26million deal to sign Barcelona’s Pedro after he dropped a huge hint about his future at the Catalan club.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is known to be a long-term fan of Pedro, having been chasing him for the last three transfer windows.
And amid growing talk that the 27-year-old is unhappy at the Nou Camp, Pedro has alerted Arsenal by admitting he’s frustrated with a lack of playing time.
‘I known it is hard to play at Barcelona,’ he said.
‘I will continue to give my all to do well. The coach is trying to give me a lot of confidence even though I’m not getting into the team.’
The comments come amid reports that Arsenal are lining up a £26million swoop in January, with Wenger seemingly determined to finally get his man.
