Chelsea to reward Tammy Abraham with new contract

Chelsea are ready to hand striker Tammy Abraham a new deal as reward for his goal-scoring form out on loan, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.
Abraham is entering the final two years of his contract at Stamford Bridge this summer when he returns from his successful loan spell at Bristol City.

The England under-21 international has been in superb form at Bristol City, scoring 26 goals in all competitions despite their struggles at the wrong end of the Championship table.
A number of clubs have already expressed an interest in Abraham on a permanent and loan basis and Chelsea are determined to secure his long-term future by offering him a new contract.
Abraham is highly rated at Chelsea after coming through the ranks at Stamford Bridge and they have been impressed by his displays and progress at Bristol City.
Chelsea have yet to decide what they plan to do with Abraham next season, but the club have ruled out selling him as they have high hopes for him in the future.
If Abraham is unlikely to figure in Antonio Conte’s first-team plans next season they could opt to send him out on loan to a Premier League rival to give him the chance to develop at a higher level next season.
