Henry Onyekuru has said he and his agent have decided to wait until after Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in Uyo before they finalise his transfer from KAS Eupen.
The forward, who scored 24 goals in all competitions for his Belgian side last season, has been linked with a move to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Swansea City, West Ham United, Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund as well as French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice.
We will decide on my transfer and finalise after the match against South Africa. This is to allow me concentrate fully on helping the team to beat South Africa and avoid distraction,” Onyekuru was quoted as saying on Monday.
