Diego Costa to join Fenerbahce on loan

Diego Costa appears to have concluded arrangement with Fenerbahce, as he is expected to arrive in Istanbul later today ahead of a move to the club.

The Spain international will complete a medical and, if successful he’ll compete a loan move to the Super Lig heavyweights.



Milliyet say the Blues will pay a whopping 75 per cent of his salary.

The Turkish transfer window is open until 8PM tomorrow evening so there is a race against the clock for Fenerbahce and Chelsea to hammer out the finer details of this deal.

Costa was dumped via text message by Blues boss Conte. Conte wrote: "Hi Diego, I hope you are well. Thanks for the seasono [sic] we spent together."
