Nas and Kelis settle their child custody dispute, reach new agreement

Rapper Nas and his ex-wife, Kelis have reportedly reached an agreement in their custody dispute over their 8-year-old son, Knight.

According to court documents, the exes found a common ground when it came to sharing their son. Nas will have custody of Knight during the weekends, he will also have four full weekends throughout January, February, and March. Nas’ weekend visits will begin immediately after school on Fridays through Sunday night, or Monday night, if it’s a 3-day weekend.


The new agreement also requires both parents to use their “best efforts to not popularize [Knight] in social media.”

As earlier reported, Nas was complaining that Kelis was making it difficult for him to spend extended time with their son, hence a custody battle, which has now been resolved.
