Benue State University Shut Down After Protest

The management of Benue State University, BSU, Makurdi has shut down the institution. The order came following the protest that broke out on Friday by students, who were not allowed access to the school premises over unpaid school fees.


Most of the victims, were final year students and could automatically have carry overs if they miss the exams and so protested their refusal to write exams, which led to the school management canceling all examinations and shutting down the school in order to prevent breakdown of laws.
