Panama extradites ex-Mexican Governor Roberto Borge accused of corruption

A former state governor for Mexico’s ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party, PRI, was extradited on Thursday from Panama to Mexico, where he would face corruption charges, Mexico’s attorney general’s office and secretary of external relations said on Thursday.

Roberto Borge, who governed the touristy state of Quintana Roo from 2010 to 2016, was taken under strict security from the offices of Panama’s national police to an air force base.

Apple has confirmed an Intel glitch has affected all iPhones, iPads and Mac computers.

The US tech giant said the processor flaw, known as Meltdown and Spectre, could leave millions of customers exposed to security vulnerabilities.

It emerged this week that developers have been trying to prevent hackers taking advantage of the flaw in microprocessors built by Intel and ARM.

Two Brothers Arrested For Alleged Serial Rape

The police in Ogun State have arrested two brothers, Paul Jibunor and Nkoenye Jibunor, for alleged serial rape and robbery.

The  Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspects were arrested on  December 31 following a complaint by one of their alleged victims at Ojodu Abiodun police division.

The price of crude oil rose further Thursday exceeding $68 per barrel, its highest since May 2015, supported by unrest in Iran and raising concern about risks to supplies, cold weather in the United States boosting demand, and output cuts led by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
