On thursday, 20th of march 2014, Olamide was honoured by MTV BASE as the Artiste of the month.
The king of Yoruba Rap declared that he is most grateful to his fans and Id Cabasa for believing in his talent and also to Tony payne for being a good mother to him. Olamide went further to introduce two other artiste signed to his YBNL imprint. He said Nigerians should get ready for Viktor whose Video will be dropping next week.
