Manchester United eye Dutch duo to replace David Moyes

Van Gaal would considering Manchester United.

Manchester United are planning to hire a managerial Dutch dream team of Louis van Gaal and Frank der Boer should they decide to sack David Moyes, reports the Daily Mirror.
Moyes only took over as manager at Old Trafford in the summer, signing a six-year deal to replace the long-standing Sir Alex Ferguson, but his position is coming under increased scrutiny as he fails to recreate the success of his predecessor.

The situation approached critical levels last Tuesday evening as Manchester United suffered a shock 2-0 Champions League loss to Olympiakos.
Although officials at Manchester United have stuck by Moyes up until now, there is an increasing concern that if results do not improve they will have to bring Moyes' time as manager to a premature end.

And it seems that fate is looking more likely than ever as the Glazer family draw up a shortlist of replacements should they have to pull the trigger.
Current Netherlands head coach Van Gaal has already stated that he wants to manage in the Premier League and has been linked with a move to Tottenham in the past.

Meanwhile the current Ajax manager De Boer is being mooted as a potential assistant to Van Gaal, bringing somewhat of a Dutch dream team to the Old Trafford dugout.
Unlike Moyes, Van Gaal has an excellent record of managing big clubs having spent time as the chief of both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
There is also hope that Van Gaal's strong relationship with Robin van Persie can help revitalise the misfiring striker.
