                                                                                                                                                                    Lagos-Ibadan-Expressway
Tragedy struck in Ibadan yesterday during the protest by some restive youths over the discovery of a den of kidnappers at Soka, along Lagos/Ibadan expressway on Saturday as a middle aged woman was allegedly killed by stray bullet.

Similarly, a lifeless body of another woman was found in front of a commercial bank (Skye Bank) along Basorun MKO Abiola way(formerly Ring Road) in the same Oyo State capital.
The victim of the stray bullet identified as Kafayat Afonja and was said to have been hit on the chest by a police stray bullet.
A 33 year old mother of three boys, the deceased was said to be a trader at Ogunpa in Ibadan, but, she was said to have joined the crowd to have a look at the den when she was said to have been hit on the left side of her breast by a stray bullet.
The restive crowd at the scene initially carried the woman’s corpse to the Lagos/ Ibadan expressway in the area before they eventually carried it to Adeoyo state Hospital where staffers there demanded for police report.
It was learnt that a senior government official however had to intervene before the corpse could be deposited at the hospital’s morgue, the report of which was made to the state governor, Abiola Ajimobi during his visit to the area.
The lifeless body of a woman found in front of the commercial bank could not be identified, but it was suspected to have been dumped there after the kidnappers made do with her useful parts.
It was observed that the skull of the woman along with her breast had already been removed before she was dropped there and from it was gathered that the corpse was taken to the nearby Adeoyo state hospital.
