A wanted man has been arrested after he taunted police on a Facebook appeal.
Samuel Evan Lake commented on a picture of himself that was posted by Christchurch Police services saying ‘I need to get a new mugshot’.
The police service responded to his cheeky message telling him ‘Come and see us and we will arrange at no cost’.
The post was put up last night at around 10pm in a bid to try and find him.
And a day later he was arrested with the police service saying ‘Thanks to everyone for their help locating Mr LAKE in Wellington tonight!’
There are now requests to see 23-year-old Lake’s new mugshot.
