Suspected Killers Of Jumia Staff Charged To Court

Rivers State Police Command has disclosed those arrested over the killing of Chukwuemeka Ejele, a delivery agent for online shopping platform, Jumia will be arraigned in court this week.

Daily Post reports the Police Spokesman, Nnamdi Omoni also disclosed the result of the autopsy conducted on the deceased Jumia agent would soon be released.

Omoni said Sodienye Mbatumukeke and two others who were arrested for allegedly killing the Jumia agent after receiving two iPhones they ordered online had offered information to the police.
Omoni said the Police wished to prosecute the matter in order to restore the confidence of online business and customers.
“Efforts are on top gear to unravel the circumstances that led to the death of that innocent man.
“The suspects are cooperating and they are helping the Police with investigation.
“As we speak, autopsy has been conducted on the victim and the result is being awaited and hopefully the suspects will be due on court before the end of this week”, he said.
Omoni advised online traders to be security conscious while trading with customers.
