Chelsea are set to hand Antonio Conte a huge new contract, while also pushing to complete the transfers of Alexis Sanchez, Virgil van Dijk and Romelu Lukaku this summer, reports claim.
The Blues are set to offer the Italian tactician a massive pay rise as they look to tie him down for the long haul.
Club officials are convinced he can turn Chelsea into a major European force and deliver a second Champions League title for the club.
They’re also aware of interest from Inter Milan, who have offered Conte a stunning £10million-a-year deal, and have put their own lucrative terms on paper for the former Juventus head coach.
His current contract has two years left to run and Chelsea are willing to back him heavily in the summer to achieve the club’s aims, according to the Mirror.
Arsenal’s Sanchez, Everton striker Lukaku and Van Dijk are Conte’s top targets and the club are determined to land them for him as a reward for what’s been a wonderful debut season in English football.
Conte has all but delivered the Premier League title at the first time at asking and his side can complete the double if they beat Arsenal at Wembley at the end of May.
After finishing in 10th place last season, the board would have been satisfied with Champions League qualification but he has truly exceeded those expectations.
