Arsenal preparing bid for Chelsea and Manchester United target Marcelo Brozovic

Arsenal are preparing a bid for Chelsea and Manchester United target Marcelo Brozovic, with Inter Milan reportedly open to offers for the Croatian midfielder.

The Gunners followed up their first summer signing – Sead Kolasinac from Schalke – with a club-record deal for Alexandre Lacazette last week.

The French striker, who netted 28 league goals last season, cost Arsenal over £50million but Wenger now intends to push on and secure further additions.

The 67-year-old is keen to bolster his midfield options in the coming weeks and ESPN say Brozovic, who has impressed at Inter over the past two years, is a top target.

It is claimed the north London outfit, along with Premier League rivals Chelsea and Man United, sent scouts to watch the 24-year-old on several occasions last season.
