Woman proposing to police officer girlfriend captures the magic of London Pride

It’s been a particularly special London Pride for this couple.

The emotional moment a British Transport Police officer was proposed to by her girlfriend has been filmed and posted on Twitter.

Crowds cheer, people clap and the officer’s colleagues can be seen shouting in celebration as the woman goes down on one knee.

The short video is everything that’s great about Pride.

Of course, the officer said yes – and the happy couple’s engagement was sealed by a hug as people nearby whipped out their phones to capture the moment.
