Swansea have completed the signing of Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa in a deal worth £11m.
Mesa has signed a four-year contract with the Swans after undergoing a medical at the club’s Fairwood training base on Thursday morning.
The 28-year-old made 35 appearances for Las Palmas last season and leaves Gran Canaria after a seven-year spell with the La Liga club.
Mesa met his new team-mates on Wednesday and will take part in his first training session on Monday as the Swans prepare to face Barnet in their opening pre-season fixture on July 12.
The Spaniard, who completed the second highest number of passes in La Liga last season, becomes the second major arrival at the Liberty Stadium this summer, following the loan signing of Tammy Abraham from Chelsea.
