Don’t come to Akwa-Ibom – Militants warn Nnamdi Kanu

A militant group known as, Niger Delta Volunteers (NDV) has warned Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) against coming to Akwa-Ibom.

The militants also told the IPOB leader that Akwa-Ibom belongs to Niger-Delta and not Biafra.

The Leader of NDV, General Ekpo Ekpo gave the warning while speaking with newsmen in Uyo.

He said “We hereby demand immediate relocation of all oil companies operating in Niger Delta to the region on or before October 1, 2017, as we shall ensure the shutting down of further operations in our territory at the expiration of this notice if they fail to act on our directive.

“All oil blocks owned by non- indigenes of Niger Delta should be returned before October 1, or the operators of such oil blocks will be severely dealt with.”

Nnamdi Kanu recently called on his members to boycott elections in all the South-Eastern states.
