The other defendants are Yusuf, 61; Adewale, 43; Adewale, 49, and Abdumaliki, 37.
They are facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and theft.
The prosecutor, Mr. Nosa Uhumwangho, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on September 13, at Wharf Terminal, Apapa, Lagos.
He said the defendants conspired among themselves and stole a 40-foot container loaded with goods valued at N15 million, belonging to the complainant, Ibekahgon Nigeria Ltd.
According to the prosecutor, the offences committed are punishable under Sections 287 (5) (a) (b) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The defendants, however, denied the charges and their counsel, Mr. U. N. Ezeokeke, urged the court to grant them bail on liberal terms as they were still presumed to be innocent.
The magistrate, Mr. Patrick Adekomaiya, granted them bail in the sum of N2 million each with two sureties each in like sum.
He said the sureties must show certified copy of their bank statements and show evidence of three years tax payment to Lagos State Government.
The case was adjourned till December 14 for mention.
