FMC Umuahia records first successful Kidney Transplant Surgery (Photos)


It was a joy-filled week at the Federal Medical Centre in Umuahia, Abia State, as the first Kidney Transplant Surgery was carried out successfully.

 A staff at the hospital identified as Chikaodili Ibeneme, took to Facebook share the good news.



She wrote:  ‘What a joy-filled week as Federal Medical Centre Umuahia records her first KIDNEY TRANSPLANT surgery. It was a huge success. To God be all the glory’. Very good news.
