A 14-year-old boy has become the youngest ever person to be charged with molesting their own mother, UK.
The crime is alleged to have taken place at their family home in Blackpool where the teen lives with his two brothers.
The offence is reported to have taken place last weekend.
Judge Jeff Brailsford remanded the 14-year-old in custody at Blackpool Magistrates Court.
His case was adjudged a “grave crime” and will be heard at Preston Crown Court at a future date.
The previous youngest to face the same charge appeared in court at Swansea in 2004 at the age of fifteen.
