Yoruba actress and producer, Funke Akindele, has broken her silence on why she has not been entertaining interviews and reacting to issues pertaining to her career of late, saying that it was a deliberate decision and her management made to stay out of media glare for the time being.
Funke, who is largely known as Jenifa endeared herself to many home video viewers with her popular movie, Jenifa, which opened a new chapter in her life and earned her mouth-watering endorsements.
In a brief chat with E recently, Funke said “I am working on new projects now and I don’t want to be in the media for the wrong reasons or for the fun of it. When I am done with the projects, I will talk about them and probably hold a press conference to clear the air on some issues,”she said
