Burglars take nearly $600 Thousand in Church Donations

Burglars made away with $600 thousand from Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, United State. Two hundred thousands of it is believed to be cash.


The donations were made on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th, but the theft was not discovered ntil 8:30 AM on Monday morning. An employee of the church and a police officer noticed the break in. 

Invesitigators handling the case think the burglary took place between 2:30 p.m Sunday afternoon and Monday morning when it was discovered.

Up to 45,000 people attend services weekly at Lakewood Church, led by Pastor Joel and Victoria Osteen.
