How Speaker Of The House Of Assembly Broke Into People's Houses
The speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Momoh-Jimoh Lawal allegedly broke into Alhaji Yahaya Audu Okumo located at Nagazi quarters of Ogaminana and that of Alhaji Musa Audu, with a team of mobile policemen, state security service and army personnel in search of his two sons that were kidnapped on April 15, 2014 at Okengwe, about 10km away from Nagazi quarters.

It was gathered that the security operatives broke into Okumo’s house without any warrant of search, or prior notice as the resident has been away in Dubai for medical check-up. Alhaji Musa’s two-storey building doors were also forced open by the security operatives in search of the kidnapped children.

“Am I mad that I would break into someone’s house in search of my children? It is the security operatives that have been on the trail of the kidnappers. So the allegation that I broke in somebody’s is unfounded,” the speaker said when contacted.
