Police van left suspended three-storeys high over town

A policeman had some explaining to do after the van he was driving ended up wedged between two buildings suspended three-storeys high.
Park He, 35, was heading back to the police station in Shandong Province, East China, when suddenly he spotted a car on the wrong side of the road.

The van sped along the roof of a residential building and slammed through a metal gate before coming to rest in the precarious position.
Rubble came crashing down onto the below pavement.

A police spokesperson said: ‘He could have gone left or right and he chose to go left which was a bad decision, as that was the roof of the residential building which was three-storeys above the street below. Had he gone to the right the ending would not have been quite so spectacular.
‘Everybody makes mistakes, although he may well need a refresher course in driving before we give him another van.’
Miraculously, no-one was seriously injured.
