Wenger confirms Vidal interest

Arsene Wenger has revealed his admiration for Arturo Vidal amid talk that he is set for a £44million transfer to Arsenal.

Vidal, who plays for Italian side Juventus, has been strongly linked with a transfer away from Serie A in recent weeks.

And recent reports suggest Arsenal are interested in luring him, with Wenger reportedly set to pay £44million for his signature.

The Gunners boss has refused to rule out the deal, and admitted he is a big fan of the player.

‘Vidal is one of the best midfielders in the world,’ he said.

‘He has everything. Incredible stamina, perfect timing. He’s a marathon athlete who plays football.’
