A doctor raped a woman during an abortion procedure two weeks after he masturbated in front of her during a physical exam, a court has heard. 
It covers 1.6 square miles, cost more than £500 million, has 1,100 rooms and silk wallpaper priced as high as £2,000 a roll.

The opulence of Turkey’s newest presidential palace sits at odds with the reality of life for millions of the people in the country, where refugees have spilled over the border from Syria and hundreds have been killed in terror attacks and political violence.

While the population have got used to Erdogan's extravagance with his palace, the source of his wealth and how he has amassed £139million remains a mystery

Wealth: According to Forbes magazine the 62-year-old topped the list of the highest paid political figure with his earnings put at £43.2m.

Investments: His personal fortune is said to be over £139m built up over the years from stock investment and a substantial property portfolio.
