Mel B's Ex Loses Appeal To Change Location Of Monitored Visits With Daughter

Stephen Belafonte has lost a plea to change the location of his visits with his daughter Madison, five, after splitting from Mel B, according to reports.

The film producer, 42, who currently has no income, split from the former Spice Girls after the singer filed for divorce in March this year.

According to TMZ, Stephen, who shares one daughter with Mel B, wanted to change venue due to a privacy issue.

The site claims the producer complained about being photographed when he met his five-year-old child.

The judge refused Stephen permission to change the venue amid reports the producer has thousands in debts and is staying with friends.

Stephen is said to have racked up $60,000 in credit card debts and is in desperate need of support from the former Spice Girl, 42.

But Mel's lawyers argued that coming to a financial agreement was premature because of the money she spent getting a restraining order against him - which Stephen may have to cover part of, TMZ reports.
