Ajax youngster Nouri Suffers permanent brain damage

Ajax have announced that their midfielder Abdelhak Appie Nouri has suffered permanent brian damage following an incident during a match last week.
Brain damage is described as an injury that causes the destruction or deterioration of brain cells.

Nouri, 20, collapsed during a friendly against Werder Bremen on Saturday and had to be revived on the pitch and taken straight to the hospital in a helicopter.
“Ajax are deeply saddened by the news that Appie Nouri has been diagnosed with serious and permanent brain damage,” Ajax tweeted on Thursday.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his loved ones in this difficult time. #StayStrongAppie.”
Dutchman Nouri played 41 games for Ajax in all competitions last season, scoring 11 goals.
