Nnamdi Kanu’s Co-accused Sparks In Court For Being ‘Manhandled’ By Security Operatives

Benjamin Mmadubugwu flares up in court

There was a mild drama earlier today before the trial resumption of Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal High Court in Abuja. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, was conspicuously absent for his trial. An IPOB member and co-accused, Benjamin Madubugwu, reacted angrily and sparked at security operatives after he was allegedly manhandled by them.

In a trending video footage, Benjamin Madubugwu, who was being brought to the court room, shouted and sparked after he was “pushed” by security operatives who were dragging him as he said he has rights like every other person.

The police operatives and prison officials who surrounded him – had to urge him to calm down before entering the court room.

Nnamdi Kanu, was last seen on September 2017 following a military operation in his hometown in Abia State..
