Kano Pillars did not receive anything from Ahmed Musa’s £16 million (N5.87billion) move from CSKA Moscow to Leicester City.
Musa left the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) team in 2010 for Dutch side, VVV Venlo, for an undisclosed fee. But Pillars did not include any sell-on clause in the deal.
“I want to say that we are not going to get anything from his movement to England because there was no such condition attached to his contract when he was leaving us some years back,” the club spokesman, Idris Malikawa, told Goal.
“We have considered all these and we have decided that we are going to look into the future sales of our players so that we can still continue to get something from their future moves to other clubs.”
