As West Ham prepare to begin life at the Olympic Stadium, the Hammers’ recruitment drive is in full flow.
Norwegian international Havard Nordtveit has joined the Irons on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach and Sofiane Feghouli has signed on a free transfer from Valencia.
Rumours have also circled that West Ham are signing Gokhan Tore from Besiktas.
And now it appears that the Hammers are close to closing a deal for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.
Bacca & AC Milan
Colombian striker Bacca scored 18 goals in Serie A last season but new Milan manager Cristian Brocchi is said to be keen to build his own team.
The 29-year-old is thought to up for sale, and West Ham are set to pick up the South American star according to Italian transfer guru Gialuca Di Marzio. He’s reported:
West Ham has reached a deal with Milan on the basis of 27 million plus 3 bonus.
The next step is to find a deal with the player over his wages, with the Hammers ready for an important investment of 4 million a season yearly, which will be easily reached with performance bonuses.
